The Associazione Nazionale Città dell’Olio invited some JRE Rookies to join the Qoco competition. The competition, scheduled for Saturday 25 March 2023, requires the participant chefs to prepare a recipe with extra virgin olive oil for 15 guests (jury).
The jury is composed of well-known personalities and chaired by Alfonso and Ernesto Iaccarino, highly decorated chefs of the Restaurant "Don Alfonso 1890", located in Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, Napoli, Italia.
Afterwards, each participant chef will supervise the preparation of an additional dish for 40-60 people, in a local restaurant. The idea behind this activity is to bring the gastronomic experience to a wider audience and to create a link between local chefs and the participating countries in the spirit of a "culinary twinning”.
The main product for the dishes is extra virgin olive oil and Pastificio dei Campi will be the technical sponsor of the event.
