Michael Philipp is owner and chef at restaurant Philipp. Michael has been running his restaurant, together with his partner, sommelier Heike Philipp, in the heart of the Franconian wine-growing region near Würzburg since 1999. Chef Michael Philipp is among Mainfranken's most innovative and technically proficient chefs. His cooking is influenced by classical French cuisine, which he mixes with a local touch. It’s no surprise his cuisine was awarded a coveted Michelin star. We asked Michael a couple of questions about his cooking style, his love for fish, and his top suppliers.
