Under the guidance of the chef-patron Boris Šuljić, Boškinac has developed its distinctive identity. The return of chef Matija Bregeš, who earned a Michelin star in this very restaurant, brings renewed energy and an added layer of creative depth to the kitchen. His enhanced experience and a clear vision of Pag’s terroir interpretation enable him to further develop the culinary narrative he first began at Boškinac.
On his plates, Pag lamb, fish, shellfish, olive oil, aromatic herbs, and wild plants are transformed into creations that unite tradition, contemporary expression, and the singular poetry of Pag. The result is an explosion of flavours and aromas that reveal this island’s remarkable depth and complexity.
Novalja area
Hotel and restaurant Boškinac is situated in a quiet area on the Island of Pag. This lush and green area, with its olive groves, vineyards and pine woods, is the perfect place for hiking and cycling. But exciting sights are also within convenient reach.
The nearest beach is just 5 minutes away and you’re merely 10 minutes away from the beach clubs as well as the city of Novalja (2 km). Nearby you’ll also find the famous olive trees at the Gligora cheese factory (20 minutes), the Pag Lace Gallery, and the Museum of Salt (both 30 minutes away).
