Hailing from a fishing family with more than forty years of tradition, Stiven Vunić made a defining step when, along with his wife Tea Vunić he opened Konoba Zijavica—a place where they now cook together and cultivate one of the most distinctive gastronomic experiences in the Kvarner region. Set on one of the most beautiful beaches of Mošćenička Draga, this konoba brings together the romance of past times and a contemporary culinary vision.
The warm, homely atmosphere flows naturally into what is served on the plate: sincere, pure flavours of Kvarner and Istrian cuisine. The daily catch, including shellfish, and crustaceans come directly from the nets of local fishermen, while the menu evolves in rhythm with the sea and the seasons, highlighting the natural simplicity and authenticity of each ingredient.
