Proudly calling himself an innkeeper, or "birt," Grega is as passionate about hospitality as he is about food and wine. A certified Level 3 sommelier and recipient of the 2021 Gault & Millau Best Sommelier award, he champions local Dolenjska winemakers and curates an exceptional wine list. Grega’s leadership combines respect for family tradition with a forward-thinking approach, evident in accolades like the Green Michelin Star and his innovative podcast, "Sladko-kisli svet."

Before becoming a restaurant, the Gostilna Repovž inn, one of the oldest buildings in Šentjanž, was the home of the family who runs it. They are the sixth generation to live and work here and even have their own organic farm, where they produce high-quality food.
