Ludger Helbig

Precision and Spice

Chef Ludger Helbig is known for a style that brings together produce, craft and subtle flavour. His career includes Ingo Holland in Klingenberg, Hotel Königshof in Munich and Steinheuer’s Restaurant in Bad Neuenahr, before he ran Zum Alten Rentamt and later shaped Auberge de Temple from 2013 to 2025. Since 2026, he has brought his cooking to Villa Marburg in Heigenbrücken. Across his career, he has received multiple Michelin stars, building a cuisine defined by regional quality, technical control and carefully chosen spices.
