Walter Bianconi

Chef Walter Bianconi is originally from Treviso and spent 23 years leading Ristorante Tivoli in Cortina d’Ampezzo with his wife Donata, earning wide recognition for a cuisine that stayed refined and generous. His work has always mixed solid Italian foundations with curiosity, including a long collaboration with Jean Claude Fabre and the “Piatti Senza Frontiere” approach to flavour. At Villa Rota, he brings that same mindset into weddings and events: high-level cooking, tailored menus, and a clear focus on quality and seasonality.

Villa Rota in Piangipane, Ravenna is a noble residence set up for dining, weddings and events, with Michelin-star cooking at its core. The Bianconi family brought their fine dining background from Cortina d’Ampezzo to this 17th-century villa, building a place where food, service and planning work as one.
