For many years, Gourmet Cup Ljubljana has represented a special gathering of the Slovenian hospitality community, where cuisine, sport and informal networking intertwine in a unique winter setting on the snow. The event also offers a valuable opportunity to meet established chefs, exchange experiences and gain insight into intergenerational collaboration within the profession.

On Monday, 2 March, the programme will begin with a morning Gourmet Breakfast, followed by the draw of starting numbers and the ski race for the Colmar Gourmet Cup. At the same time, Gourmet on Snow – the central culinary gathering of the day – will take place at Krvavec Beach. A key highlight of this year’s event will be the participation of chefs from JRE-Slovenia, who will take on mentoring roles alongside more than 20 young talents and their school mentors from 11 Slovenian hospitality and tourism schools. Participating chefs include Sabina Repovž (Gostilna Repovž), David Vračko (Restavracija Mak), Igor Jagodic (Restavracija Strelec), Ksenija Mahorčič (Gostilna Mahorčič), Tomaž Bevčič (Rizibizi), Martina Breznik (Hiša Raduha), Uroš Štefelin (Hiša Linhart), Andrej Smogavc (Spargus), Jure Brložnik (Miza za štiri), Jakob Pintarja (TaBar) and Marko Pavčnik (Pavus). Together, they will create signature dishes while emphasising the importance of knowledge transfer and intergenerational collaboration through hands-on work. The day will conclude with a lively Après Ski party.

On Tuesday, 3 March, the event will culminate with the Gourmet Cable Car Dinner – an unforgettable culinary experience in the Krvavec cable cars. The Flavours of Ljubljana dinner will be led by JRE-Slovenia member and renowned Ljubljana-based chef Tomaž Bratovž (Restaurant JB), while the sweet finale will be prepared by Tomaž Bolka (Gostilna Krištof).
