JRE x Marie-Stella-Maris at the JRE-Nederland Foodprint event
On September 1st, JRE-Netherlands welcomed members, teams, partners, and guests to JRE-Inspired By… FoodPrint, a day dedicated to taste, origin, and the future of hospitality. The event took place at Buitenplaats Park Ruimzicht in Doetinchem, the newly developed sustainable garden project of chef Bjorn Massop.
The programme brought together chefs and partners in a mix of masterclasses, workshops, and the lively Partner Patio, where Dutch producers and suppliers showcased their expertise — from wine and cheese tastings to coffee, caviar, and innovative ingredients.
Marie-Stella-Maris Brings the Art of Fragrance
Among the partners, Marie-Stella-Maris stood out with a workshop that added a new dimension to Foodprint: the world of fragrance. Known for its natural care products and its mission to support clean drinking water projects, the brand introduced participants to the basics of perfume making.
The session started with an introduction to their philosophy, after which guests explored a collection of scents using fragrance strips. Each participant selected their favourites, narrowed them down to three, and began blending — carefully adding drops into an alcohol base, testing, and adjusting along the way. When satisfied, they bottled their own unique creation and personalised it with a special JRE event logo.
With our Masterclass ‘Create Your Own Scent’ we redefined luxury together with JRE. Where fine dining meets fragrance, craftsmanship and conscious luxury (of: elegance) - and true luxury finds its purpose in giving back.

This workshop highlighted the parallels between cooking and perfumery: both are about balance, layering, and creating an experience that lingers. It also showed how a partner brand can enrich the Foodprint concept by offering participants something unexpected and memorable.
