PASTIFICIO DEI CAMPI ROOKIE CHALLENGE

As "the perfect companion to good food" Pastificio dei Campi pasta is a healthy / natural component with the focus on indulgence, richness of aromas and perfect companion to good food. This International Recipe Challenge is not for the Chefs but four you, working at a JRE restaurant somewhere in Europe, we challenge you to bring the best out of you, take the challenge and become a Master at fusing cultures, flavors and ingredients…

The Contest

The PASTIFICIO DEI CAMPI X JRE ROOKIE CHALLENGE is to create a fusion between cultures, flavors and ingredients by creating a recipe focused on one type of pasta from Pastificio dei Campi and top local ingredients. The challenge is open to everyone working at a JRE restaurant in Europe. 1. Subscribe and receive the Pastificio dei Campi samples box; 2. Create one recipe (or more) around one type of pasta and local ingredients; 3. Make sure your recipe is in line with the JRE manifesto. Of all entries, the jury will select the 3 (three) best for the Grand Finale, in March 2023 in Gragnano, Italy

THE RECIPE

  • Each recipe is for 4 (four) persons

  • Each recipe consists of at least 1 (one) type of pasta and, at least, 2 (two) ingredients from your region

Your entry must be accompanied by

  • Title of your dish

  • Detailed preparation method

  • Photo (high resolution) of your dish

THE GRAND FINALE

The 3 (three) best entries will be nominated and invited for the finals in Gragnano. This two-day visit includes a visit to the production site and a master class on pasta.

For the contest each nominee will cook 2 (two) pasta dishes; the chosen recipe, and a pasta dish using ingredients from a ‘Black Box’. Both dishes will be judged by a technical and a gastro Jury;
