Atelier’s cuisine
At Atelier restaurant, the food and wine proposal is inspired by the regional Piedmontese cuisine, which has been recreated by chef Giorgio Bartolucci through the traditional combinations of flavour. Because of his outstanding food, this is the first restaurant in the Val d’Ossola area to ever be awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant serves a special bistro-style menu at lunchtime and an à la carte menu for dinner, including fish dishes and regional specialties. Favourites on the menu include rabbit caught in Piedmont with chickpea panisse, purple aubergine caviar, and pine nuts. Those with a sweet tooth will love the blueberry, honey and chamomile waffles.

Restaurant Atelier is located in the heart of Domodossola, a city in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in the region of Piedmont, northern Italy. It is surrounded by the picturesque mountains of the Alps and close to the Swiss border. Interesting sights in the area include the central square Piazza Mercato, where you can see several of the most noteworthy buildings, and the 17th-century Sanctuary of the Crucifix, a UNESCO heritage site.
