At restaurant Ledeboer, the cooking style of chef Rick Blanken is essentially pure and intertwined with classic notes. The chef wants to present all of the ingredients as pure and authentic as possible to his guests. Furthermore, he strives to find as much as possible from the products of his region and to develop modern combinations that are refined yet not overdone. Culinarian Rick Blanken has proven gastronomic quality and a relaxed environment can easily go together: restaurant Ledeboer quickly became one of the best in Twente. Specialties on the menu include the delicious sea bass with string bean and onion; and the duck with beet and pumpkin seeds.
Ambiance
Restaurant Ledeboer is housed inside a unique building: the former bank of the Dutch bankers Ledeboer & Co. In this beautiful building dating back to 1909, the gastronomic industry and a rich history merge harmoniously. The interior is modern and industrial, but at the same time it gives guests a feeling of a cozy living room. In fact, Ledeboer has been considered the living room home of Almelo. the grandeur and the modernity of the exteriors fuse smoothly with its modern and industrial features. You can even have a unique private dining experience inside a former bank vault, or if the weather allows it, you can enjoy your drinks and food outside on the terrace.
