Chefs Roulette 2026 - SAVE THE DATE! Austria’s top chefs leave their familiar kitchens and create culinary surprises with JRE colleagues across the country. They will not be cooking in their own restaurants, but at unfamiliar stoves. Who will be cooking where? That remains a secret until the first courses are served.
JRE Chefs' Roulette
Places are allocated by draw, and the menus are individual: each chef brings special products from their home region and combines them with the ingredients of the host restaurant.
The result is creative five-course menus, surprising and unique – even for regular guests.
A high-calibre wine pairing is also included. In some restaurants, the winegrowers are even there in person.

At Chefs Roulette, the participating establishments swap kitchens for one evening – and this year, for the first time, a special venue is also part of the concept.

Shared Dinner
The evening takes place as a shared dinner. The dishes are therefore served in individual courses for sharing and enjoying together. You can expect not a classic seated dinner with individually plated dishes, but a sociable, communal dining experience.
As the JRE chef cooking on the night will only be announced in the evening, the exact menu will also remain a surprise until then. This is part of the Chefs Roulette concept and makes this evening something truly special.

Raffle & Charity
Enjoyment that does good: In 2026, the raffle will once again focus entirely on supporting important projects and organisations.
This year, the proceeds will go to the following organisations:
- Ö3 Christmas Miracle
- Herzkinder Österreich
- Children’s Cancer Support Innsbruck
The chefs present will provide special culinary highlights, which will be auctioned or raffled directly on site. All proceeds will then go to the selected organisations.
How much can be achieved through shared commitment was already demonstrated last year: in 2025, an impressive €41,650 was raised for a good cause.
