Premium

Exciting news from the recent JRE-International Congress in Paris, where the world witnessed the grand debut of Lindeiros 2021, the new white wine from La Rioja Alta, S.A. winery Group. During the Gala Dinner of JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, attendees had the exclusive opportunity to experience the first international uncorking of this deep, complex, and highly age-worthy Galician white wine. Only 3,800 bottles of this inaugural vintage have been produced, destined exclusively for the world's most premium restaurants.

Lagar de Fornelos, a winery in Rías Baixas owned by La Rioja Alta, S.A., has announced the release of Lindeiros, with the first vintage of 2021 set to be unveiled this April. This exclusive production of 3,800 bottles comes from a selection of Albariño grapes from the Troviscoso estate in Cambados (Pontevedra). Here, integrated within the vineyard, a state-of-the-art winemaking facility has been established, dedicated to both vinification and research and development projects.

Targeted towards premium dining establishments, the international debut of Lindeiros 2021 took place at the extraordinary stage of the JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs International Congress recently held in Paris. This was a splendid unveiling before the chefs and sommeliers, who praised and enjoyed the characteristics of this outstanding Spanish white wine, the sole representative of its kind at the event.

Furthermore, during the Chef2Chef summit, La Rioja Alta, S.A. winery (established 1890, which just had its fourth consecutive appearance among the top 50 most admired wine brands in the world) organized an unforgettable vertical tasting of its Gran Reserva 904 led by Master of Wine Rod Smith.

Additionally, the latest vintages of its Rioja, Rioja Alavesa, Ribera del Duero and Rías Baixas brands were presented by Guillermo de Aranzabal Bittner, sixth generation at the winery.

Group La Rioja Alta, S.A.’s four wineries, which produce both classic and modern wines (www.riojalta.com/en), are extremely well represented in Europe.
