An award-winning chef with eye for detail
Ending up in Vienna because of love, chef Sören Herzig now runs his very own gourmet restaurant together with his wife, host Saskia. Located on the outskirts of Fünfhaus, the chef has transformed the gigantic concrete building, which used to be an auction house and pawn office, into one of the city’s coolest dining spots: restaurant Herzig.

At restaurant Herzig, you can enjoy chef Sören’s signature dishes and re-interpreted classics in the industrial-chic dining room, furnished with wooden floors, velvet chairs, steel blue walls, and contemporary art.
If the weather allows it, you can also enjoy your aperitif on the roof terrace, with a terrific panoramic view of Schönbrunn Palace and the Gloriette.
