Owner Nikola Narančić, who was born in Belgrade in 1977, has been passionate about cooking since childhood. Graduated from the University of Bologna, where he specialized in tourism economics, he became a chef of the prestigious Bologna restaurant Ai Butteri, a member of the Professional Association of Italian Chefs.

This turn-of-the-century landmark is a masterpiece of Baroque and Art Nouveaux architecture, with a spectacular interior coated in glistening brass, marble and gold. The restaurant is situated on the Dava river and is close to many historic sites, like the historic Belgrade Fortress, an ancient fortress that sits atop a ridge overlooking the river, and the National Museum, showing an Italian art collection, ancient artifacts & much more.

The head chef at restaurant Salon 1905 is David Simunic, who has been honing his skills at various restaurants in Serbia and abroad. His dedication to providing the highest level of customer service, along with his passion for gourmet and fine dining cuisine, make him the ideal candidate for this position. Chef David is responsible for creating Salon's signature menu. Throughout his culinary journey, he has dedicated his time to reinventing the Belgrade fine dining experience, focusing on local ingredients in traditional recipes such as Tournedos Rossini, that now has his signature touch.
