In the historic centre of Palaia (Pisa), Restaurant Antica Farmacia is set in a building that housed a local pharmacy until the 1970s, which is where the name comes from. Vaulted ceilings, exposed brick and classic Tuscan architecture shape a small dining room with just twenty covers, rustic in character yet carefully finished. In winter, the lit fireplace adds to the atmosphere and makes it a perfect choice for romantic dinners and special occasions. JRE chef Juri Zanobini starts from Tuscan tradition and develops it with modern technique and a creative touch. Local ingredients lead the menu, with a strong focus on flavour balance and precise execution.
