Dutch JRE-Chefs in the Spotlight during Gault&Millau 2026
Last Monday afternoon, 9 February, was all about the Gault&Millau award ceremony: a day filled with wonderful awards and special recognition for Dutch gastronomy. We are proud to share the highlights of this festive day.
Young Chef of the Year
During the award ceremony, JRE chef Sofiane Bons from Joelia in Rotterdam received a well-deserved award. He was honoured with the title Young Chef of the Year. A special congratulations to him for this wonderful recognition of his talent, vision and craftsmanship.
Score increases
In addition, we celebrated several impressive score increases for JRE restaurants:
