At restaurant Vairo del Volturno, diners can choose between the special territory menu, fish menu, or order dishes à la carte. There’s also a special menu for vegetarians with delicious meat-free options.  Favourites in the menu include the buffalo mozzarella mille-feuille with green peschiole sauce; and the black pig from Caserta with Aglianico sauce, pasta bundle with braised escarole, cream of beans, and zita timbale with buffalo ragout. Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted by the delicious Sicilian frozen cassata (sponge cake) with seasonal fruit sauce or the mouth-watering annurca apple tart with Sannio cider sauce.
