Franz BerlinFranz Berlin is chef at restaurant Berlins Krone. As the son of chef Rolf Berlin and hotel manager Gudrun Berlin, it's no surprise he developed such a strong passion for cooking. After his culinary training at Bad Hotel Bad Teinach under chef Thomas Klink, Franz continued to learn at Michelin-starred restaurants across Germany, such as restaurant Adler, restaurant Jörg Müller (Sylt), and restaurant Jörg Sackmann (Baiersbronn). Over the years, Franz’s local delicacies and exquisite dishes have earned him many awards, among which one Michelin star and 17 points from Gault Millau.

Berlins Krone’s cuisine
The Berlins Kronelamm establishment consists of two hotels and three restaurants. Each restaurant offers its own type of cuisine. The Wanderheim serves hearty Swabian Black Forest specialities. Naturparkrestaurant Berlins Lamm promises regional dishes (and a great view). And restaurant Berlins Krone, where chef Franz Berlin works his magic, presents the absolute finest of delicacies. At Berlin Krone restaurant, you can choose between two menus (available in 4 to 7 courses): the chef’s choice or your own choice. Vegetarian options are available upon request. The excellent cuisine is rounded off by the restaurant’s wine list which includes multi-award-winning wines from Baden-Württember.

Nestled in Germany’s impressive Black Forest, Hotel Berlins KroneLamm is the ideal starting point for an endless array of activities. Belonging to the Berlin family, Hotel Berlins KroneLamm is run by a team of five family members and 110 friendly staff members. The estate houses two hotel buildings: Hotel Lamm (main house with spa area) and Hotel Krone (around 30 meters away from the main house). Restaurant Berlins Krone is located across the street from Hotel Lamm. This hotel offers 44 comfortable rooms, all equipped with an LCD flatscreen TV, a safe, and free Wi-Fi. Each room also has a balcony or terrace from where you have a fantastic view over the Teinachtal valley or the romantic village.
