The youthful and playful team at restaurant Galerija okusov is bursting with inspiration and creativity, which they turn into excellent dishes. Gault Millau awarded the restaurant’s excellent culinary efforts with 16.5 points. Favorites on the menu include Krškopolje pig (Slovenian indigenous pig breed), with butter sesame mayonnaise, roasted sauerkraut, and paprika with rice and venison, cream cheese, capers and tapioca chips. Various vegan and vegetarian options are available upon request. In addition to the food, the wine collection is wild, bold, different, but also of exceptional quality. The wine list contains over 600 domestic and foreign labels, carefully selected by top sommelier Gašper Puhan.

Occupying a baroque building that dates back to the 18th century and is surrounded by luxuriant gardens, this restaurant is the perfect location for a romantic dinner. The interior has a contemporary feel in much of its decor, such as the imposing glass wine cabinet and the distinctive design lampshades. Various parts of the surrounding gardens can be adapted to suit any event. Dining under the canopy will give your culinary experience a hint of mystery and magic.

You can explore the area on foot, by bicycle, or by car, and then relive the experience at the restaurant through dishes crafted by chef Marko Magajne, who skillfully harmonizes local ingredients into a symphony of flavors.
