Following chef Thomas Gruber’s love of slow food, he and his team only work with seasonal products that can be sourced within a radius of 150 kilometers. This makes for a sustainable and uncomplicated cuisine, with fresh and hand-picked ingredients. Expect a variety of Carinthian tastes and smaller portions that are meant to be shared. The menu is beautifully complemented by excellent wines from the Alpe-Adria region. Insider tip: for an unforgettable experience, enjoy your aperitif in the rocking chair in the lounge, your courses on the lakeside terrace, and your digestif on the hotel's own motorboat (with sunset view).

Velden is a market town located on the western bay of Wörthersee. It’s generally regarded as one of Carinthia’s hotspots. The location is characterized by its chic boutiques and lovely sidewalk cafés. As you can imagine, during summer this site offers numerous opportunities for water sports, as well as golfing, cycling, and hiking. During winter, Velden transforms into a serene oasis with wonderful regions for Alpine and Nordic skiing within reach.
