The restaurant works with small, local suppliers and is always in direct contact with its producers. A green Michelin star was awarded to Mahorčič restaurant for its commitment to sustainable work. Through food recycling, rainwater collection for gardening and composting, and the use of recyclable packaging, the restaurant tries to reduce its negative impact on nature as much as possible. Among the restaurant’s specialties are the exquisite bear prosciutto, porcini mushroom ice cream, blackcurrant and the deer with pistachio cream, reduced sour cherry and violet potatoes.
