The Vision of Chef Hugo Charcolin
Hugo Charcolin’s journey from tennis instructor to celebrated chef is a story of passion and reinvention. Mentored by Michelin-starred Eric Guérin, Hugo honed his skills before taking the leap to run La Tête de l’Art with his wife, Marie. His cuisine is inspired by Japanese flavours and shaped by a deep respect for local ingredients, sourced from trusted producers within 20 kilometres. Hugo’s creative approach brings a balance of precision and playfulness to each dish, making every visit an unforgettable experience.
“I believe in cooking that reflects the place you’re in—honest, local, and always surprising.”
