Raised in Malinska, Chef Marin Pleše grew up immersed in Krk’s culinary traditions. After training with Croatia’s finest chefs and gaining international experience, he returned home to redefine fine dining on the island. His inventive dishes combine modern techniques with fresh, seasonal ingredients, telling a story of Krk’s land, sea, and culture. Honoured as Gault&Millau’s Young Talent of the Year in 2024, Marin continues to elevate the gastronomic landscape of his beloved island.
