Chef Philipp Felber was born in 1976 and completed his culinary apprenticeship at restaurant Ponte Vecchio, Lucerne, and at the Adler in Nebikon. He gained gastronomic experience working in the kitchens of Vufflens-le-château (L'Ermitage de Bernard Ravet), Ascona (Hotel Giardino) and Davos (Davoserhof). In 2001 he returned home to his family’s restaurant. In 2013, together with his wife, chef Andrea Felber, he took over restaurant Pony, which they now successfully run together.
Restaurant Pony, located in the Sigigen region of Lucerne, opened its doors in 1966. Over time, it has become the most famous restaurant in the region, drawing diners from near and far. Chef-owner Philipp Felber and his wife Andrea serve excellent modern Swiss cuisine and love to spoil their guests with delicacies for the palate that also stimulate the senses. This family-run restaurant is now in the hands of the third generation. Classic cuisine with Mediterranean influences is served in the elegant dining room, while more casual cuisine is served in the cozy inn-style lounge.
