Grega Repovž is the head of the family-run Gostilna Repovž. His enthusiasm ensures the vision passed down from his parents and grandparents. Proudly calling himself an innkeeper, or "birt," he oversees the restaurant where his mother and wife, Sabina Repovž, reign in the kitchen. A passionate food and wine enthusiast, Grega holds a Level 3 sommelier certification and has completed the international WSET III course. In 2021, Gault & Millau named him the best sommelier in Slovenia. Grega is dedicated to discovering unique, lesser-known wines, especially from local Dolenjska winemakers, with whom he collaborates closely. He also handles all marketing activities and hosts Slovenia's first gastronomy podcast, "Sladko-kisli svet." Under his leadership, Gostilna Repovž proudly holds a Green Michelin Star and other accolades.
