Born in Ruurlo, chef Bart Leussink brings his artistry to The Church with a dedication to fresh, balanced flavours. Inspired by global cuisines, Bart’s menu reflects his roots at prestigious kitchens like Graphite and ’t Schulten Hues. A graduate of the Cas Spijkers Academy, Bart pairs classic French techniques with bold, modern influences. His culinary philosophy revolves around honouring each ingredient, from pickled vegetables to the whole lamb, delivering plates that are pure, honest, and brimming with creativity.
At this special place, several of my passions come together. Cooking at a high level with pure techniques and flavours, as well as creating an experience for our guests that truly delivers a ‘wow’ effect.
