During her studies, Marjolein wrote her thesis about owning her own business, never imagining that this vision of the future would soon become reality. During her internship on Bonaire, she met Mark, her partner in both life and entrepreneurship. Together they form the beating heart of Orangerie De Pol. While Mark, as chef, focuses entirely on the kitchen, Marjolein is the driving force in the restaurant. She safeguards the atmosphere, the experience, and the finesse that make an evening unforgettable. Her talent did not go unnoticed: in 2020, Marjolein was named Hostess of the Year by JRE Netherlands, a recognition that underlines her role and dedication. With a shared vision and strong ambition, Marjolein and Mark work every day to refine their restaurant. Their goal is clear: to bring Orangerie De Pol to the highest possible level without compromising authenticity and personal attention.
