Markus Waibel

Markus Waibel completed his training at Burg Staufeneck from 2011 to 2014, where he quickly worked his way up - from Demi Chef de Partie to Sous Chef. In 2016, he gained valuable experience as chef de partie at the 2-star restaurant Trenkerstube at Hotel Castel before returning to Burg Staufeneck as head chef. Markus has held the title of master chef since 2019 and has been running the gourmet restaurant “fine dining RS” as head chef since 2020. His career is characterized by culinary excellence, passion for detail and creative top cuisine that delights guests at the highest level.
