Martin Scharff

Chef Martin Scharff, originally from Dinkelsbühl, was once the youngest of his guild to receive a Michelin star. Scharff is one of the founding members of the JRE, as well as a member of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. The talented chef has cooked for celebrities and guests of the Berlinale for many years. Showcasing great culinary expertise, Scharff also sat in several juries of German and international cooking contests. Today, Martin is the lord of the castle’s kitchen. Set in the country’s most stunning and famous castle ruins, chef Scharff pampers national and international guests with his refined, yet down-to-earth and uncomplicated cuisine. Describing himself as a gastronomic globetrotter, the top chef has tried almost every interesting cuisine in the world. Influenced by his many travels and culinary experiences, he cooks up dishes with exciting accents from Latin America, Asia, and the Mediterranean region.
