Emanuele Donalisio is owner and chef at restaurant Il Giardino del Gusto. He was introduced to gastronomy at a young age, growing up in the Piedmont countryside where good food was an important part of his upbringing. After studying at the Arturo Prever Hotel School in Pinerolo, he joined the kitchen at the six-star cruise ships of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. In 2012 Emanuele decided it was time to open his own establishment. He opened the doors to his restaurant Il Giardino del Gusto where he conjures up delicious modern Italian cuisine, blending terroir with international influences.
