Manfred Kofler

A native of Merano, chef Manfred Kofler was born in 1982. After finishing his studies at the hotel school, he gained experience in restaurants in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and especially in South Tyrol. In 2008 he completely renovated the family restaurant with his brother Stefan. This is how the current restaurant Culinaria im Farmerkreuz came into being. The special menu "Alps to sea" represents a culinary journey from the mountains to the sea. The cuisine reflects the philosophy of chef Manfred concerning the Alpine culture, the local territory, and Mediterranean influences in a high-quality, modern and sustainable style.
